OUR STORY
Growing up in poverty, I knew what it was like to struggle with money. I saw the stress in my parents’ eyes as they battled to keep their business afloat with no support from the bank. I felt the frustration of being turned down for a car loan because of past credit issues which was rectified many moons ago. And I watched helplessly as a friend found themselves entangled in legal battles over contracts they never fully understood. In those moments, I realized the immense power of genuine guidance and support in navigating the choppy waters of finance.
In 2015, I took the plunge into the finance world, starting out as a broker, I helped people find loans. From there, I jumped into managing finances for multiple car dealerships and eventually found myself knee-deep in the lending game. Each role opened my eyes to a different facet of finance, but it was the heartfelt moments that stuck with me the most.
I’ll never forget the tears of relief from clients who finally secured a loan despite past credit hiccups, the appreciation for those business owners that simply don’t have the time to sort out their paperwork, or the sheer joy on faces when dreams were realized with the right funding. Those moments hit close to home, reminding me of my own struggles and the lack of support I faced back then.
